The Ford Granada is a luxury car produced by the European division of Ford Motor Company from 1972 to 1994. The Granada replaced the Ford P7 in continental Europe and the Ford Zephyr/Zodiac in the UK.
The model was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1972. The first generation was produced from 1972 to 1977. Most cars were sedans, both four- and two-door, but station wagons and coupes were also produced.
In April 1985, the third generation debuted, which was a renamed Ford Scorpio. Under the name Granada, the model continued to be sold only in the domestic markets of Ireland and the UK, in other countries this model was sold under the name Scorpio.
In the USA, a model was produced under the same name, which had no relation to the European "Granadas".
