While the TrailBlazer was discontinued in the United States, the model continued to be sold in other markets, albeit as a crossover and spelled slightly differently as the Trailblazer.
Chevrolet launched the international version of the Trailblazer in 2012, basing it on the same chassis as the Colorado pickup truck. Nearly eight years later, the brand downsized the vehicle once again, utilizing the platform of the Buick Encore for its production. However, in 2023, the crossover underwent a comprehensive facelift to keep it competitive in the market with modernized technologies onboard.
The 2024 model retained the design concept of lower-mounted headlights integrated into the bumper, with daytime running lights positioned above them along the hood’s edge. The updated version featured a revised grille design with a honeycomb mesh pattern, and the emblem was relocated onto the chrome horizontal slat rather than above it as seen on the 2020 model. The vehicle’s profile maintained its characteristic sculpted doors and robust-looking wheel arches accented with black moldings. For higher trim levels, the 2024 Trailblazer offered 19-inch alloy wheels as an option.
Inside, the automaker implemented significant changes by eliminating all analog dials and gauges from the instrument panel, replacing them with an 8-inch digital display for the driver. The redesigned dashboard also showcased an 11-inch touchscreen mounted on top of the center stack. The rest of the cabin remained largely similar to its predecessor, featuring two individual front seats and a split-folding rear bench capable of accommodating three passengers.
